Are you a Friend or Relative to an Inmate?
We understand this can be a tough and confusing time. To start communicating, you must first create an account.
First Time Visiting the Encartele Website?
We are here to help.
To receive phone calls from an inmate, you must first create a Encartele account. Encartele provides the correctional facility with phone service that allows inmates to make calls to friends and family members. Once you have created an account, you will need to add funds to pay for the phone calls made by your friend or relative. To create an account, click the 'Friends & Family' button below.
Only certain facilities offer video calling from home, so check with your facility to see if this option is available for you. If so, you will need to create an account and link with your friend or family member. To get started, click the 'Friends & Family' button below.
For security purposes, your inmate must be the one to call you. There are phones mounted to the walls inside every correctional facility that allow inmates to make calls when they choose.
If your incarcerated friend or relative has been released and you no longer need to receive phone calls from the correctional facility but still have money in your account, you will need to request a refund via the customer portal. To access the customer portal, click the 'Friends & Family button below.
